TEENS ACCUSED OF RIPPING CAT'S HEART OUT AND NAILING DOG TO WALL MUST BE PROSECUTED

A pair of teenagers in the Russian province of Primorsky Krai allegedly took a knife and brutally cut the heart out of an innocent cat.
The teenagers also allegedly nailed a dog to a wall

The 17-year-old was arrested after allegedly posting photos of the gruesome killings on-line.

One photo shows a knife being held next to the face of a wide-eyed cat

A video shows a dog hanging from a wall before being shot.

The gory photos show multiple dead animals that have been mutilated.

These savage animal murders were apparently carried out with pure malice and sadism.

It's even more shocking that the alleged murderers were teenage girls, but that shouldn't exempt her from punishment if she is found guilty.

Both girls have denied any guilt and have asserted that the photos were doctored.

Please take a stand for these innocent animals who were brutally tortured and murdered.

Sign this petition to demand that these young women receive the most severe penalty possible if proven guilty of their alleged crimes.

A Living Nightmare For Baby Seals

April 22, 2016

It's been 12 days since the beginning of the commercial seal slaughter, and the ice flows off the coast of Canada have turned crimson red.

The air rings with the terrified cries of the chubby, helpless seal pups who are still too young to flee from the guns and "halipiks" -- thick wooden bats with a sharp metal hook -- used by sealers to kill these babies before the skin is torn off their bodies.

Since the start of the commercial seal slaughter earlier this month, tens of thousands of baby seals have been killed.

Although there is no international market for seal products and there is overwhelming support both at home and abroad to stop the slaughter, the Canadian government is holding on with all it's might, stubbornly continuing to prop up this dying industry with taxpayer funds.

This year, Canadian officials have once again told sealers that they will be able to kill up to 400,000 young harp seals before the massacre ends.

But in recent years, the sealers haven't reached their annual quota because kind people from around the world (including Canada) have taken action against the slaughter.

The global market for sealskins has almost entirely disappeared.
It shows no signs of recovering, leaving the skins of most of the animals killed last year sitting in warehouses unsold.

And yet the Canadian government, alone in the world, props up the seal slaughter.

In addition to bans in the U.S. and Russia, the E.U.'s ban on commercial products has withstood multiple challenges from a Canadian government fighting hard to foist off a bloody product that no one wants, and most people find repulsive.

The commercial sealskin trade has essentially been eliminated worldwide, and even attempts to sell seal products in China have fallen flat.

What can we do about it?

For those of us who live in Canada, contacting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is the best way to help end this senseless slaughter of these sweet, gentle, lovable baby seals.
